A professional training on conflict management and transformation was accomplished by Ta’awon and shagaf for digital expression within youth digital Media Neighboring for youth and community development (Mojawarat Nofedo) project” Shabab Live”. This project is funded by EU supported by German foreign ministry in partnership with Deutche Welle Academy-Germany, Al-khat -Tunisia, and Arab Information center for folk arts/AL-Jana -Lebanon.
The training program targeted 26 youth males and females that have the same interests in media from different West bank and Jerusalem governorates, the training continued for 3 days and it aim to empower youth in societal conflict management and transformation and also dealing with different problems that faces young media professionals. The training goal is to develop capabilities and skills of the trainees to create a media production that highlights on Palestinian community issues such as violence, community conflicts, and human rights.
Mr.Hani Ismirat ”Project Manager” said "this is the first phase of the project that includes developing the trainees capabilities in dealing with community conflicts as well as choosing and developing the mechanisms of the societal initiatives and to design and produce media production. Ismirat pointed out that the next step will include varied activities such as releasing 26 media production” youth digital media neighboring”, create youth digital studio, and award prizes for the best influential media production in addition to other activities that giving youth a voice through media".
